Our Story

MESIK was built from a story of survival.

Born in Ethiopia, our inspiration lost both parents by the age of one. What followed was a journey shaped by resilience, sacrifice, and the determination to keep moving forward no matter the obstacles.

At just twelve years old, his sister took on the role as a parent and migrated her 3 younger siblings to the Middle East, where family helped provide a new beginning. Years later, at sixteen, he made his way to New York alone—learning independence, toughness, and what it means to fight for a future.

At twenty-one, the journey led to Los Angeles. A artist, boxer, a self taught musician of many instruments, and someone forged through life’s hardest rounds, the spirit behind MESIK was born.

MESIK represents more than clothing.

It represents resilience. It represents struggle. It represents the people who refuse to quit.

Every piece is a reminder that strength is built through adversity.
